Definition
Medical therapy (or aesthetic mesotherapy) is a medical technique consisting of injecting, in very small
doses, into the superficial dermis or subcutaneous tissue, mixtures of vitamins, amino acids,
non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, minerals and other active ingredients. It aims to improve skin quality,
stimulate cell regeneration and treat certain skin problems.
Types of Medical Therapy
- Revitalizing medical therapy (skinbooster / mesolift)
Composition: vitamins (A, C, E, B), minerals, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid.
Objective: deep hydration, radiance, elasticity.
- Anti-aging medical therapy
Antioxidant cocktails, hyaluronic acid, biomimetic peptides.
Action: stimulation of collagen, prevention of sagging skin.
- Anti-acne drug therapy
Sebum-regulating substances (zinc, B vitamins), anti-inflammatories.
Action: regulates sebum production, reduces inflammation, improves light scars.

Duration and Sessions
- Initial treatment: 3 to 5 sessions spaced 15 days to 1 month apart.

Disadvantages
- Progressive and not definitive results (maintenance required).
- Redness, small bruises, temporary swelling after the session.
- Slight pain or discomfort during injections.
- No effect on deep wrinkles or marked sagging (indication rather for Botox, fillers, radiofrequency,
etc.).
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Known allergy to one of the injected components
- Severe autoimmune or inflammatory diseases
- Skin infection or active herpes on the treated area
- Heavy anticoagulants or coagulation disorders
- Patients who are immunocompromised or undergoing certain chemotherapy
- Caution in people with severe allergies (history of anaphylactic shock)
